EICMA ROUND UP: Why is everyone so mad? 🏍🗞️

1. The New Panigale / Street Fighter VS + V2S are lighter, cheaper, and make 70% of their available torque at 3,000 RPM. Ducatistas are mad they are down 35 horsepower. :(

2. Aprilia piggybacked off the RS457 with the release of the Tuono 457. People are mad it is ugly. Stop worrying about how bikes look on camera and just ride them. The RS457 is the best equipped sub 500 cc sport bike and the Tuono 457 carries the torch into the small displacement naked bike category.

3. The Suzuki DRZ was updated for the first time in nearly 25 years. It has a brand new frame, engine, exhaust, airbox, FBW throttle, etc. People are mad it still has a 5 speed transmission. If you’re mad your 400 cc dual sport isn’t happy to cruise at 90 MPH, you’re riding the wrong bike.

4. KTM released three new iterations of the 390. The 390 Adventure R, the 390 Enduro Rally, and the 390 SMC-R. KTM owners are mad that they’re so much better than their big bikes.

5. KTM also debuted the 2025 Duke 990 R, which they named the “Punisher”. What is going to be punished first, your wallet or the bikes cam lobes?! 🥁 ba dum tss 🥁

6. CFMoto teased a new 206 Horsepower V4 engine concept. People are mad they aren’t able to IMMEDIATELY put a deposit down. Broke sport bike squids are literally ******* in their ***** knowing they may one day be able to get a brand new Chinese super bike for the price of a used 10 year old GSX-R on Facebook Marketplace.

7. BMW unveiled the F450GS, a small displacement adventure bike that will live in their lineup between the 310 GS and 800/900 models. Current GS owners are mad that BMW intends to create more accessible motorcycle models, diminishing the allure of exclusivity.

8. Kawasaki teased a new KLE500 adventure bike that could take out the Versys 300 and KLR 650 in one fell swoop. And let’s be honest, no one is mad about that. Those bikes suck. lol.
