1. I gave away seven motorcycles in 2024! We started off strong with a Yamaha R1M. This ended up going to Paul from Colorado. Nicholas from Virginia won a 2023 Ninja 400 next. I bought a BMW S1000RR to see if it was actually worth the hype. After long term testing it ended up with Jorge in California. Landon from South Dakota won my Suzuki GSX-8R and Syed from California won my MT-09 SP. I had to try out Aprilia’s new beginner sport bike, the RS457. This ultimately went to Donovan from Louisiana. Lastly, JP from Tennessee won the Ninja 500 from the most recent giveaway!

2. I blew the lid off of the NBT riding jeans scam. I was sick of seeing unsafe, low quality, cheap reproduction pants being shilled by paid influencers up and down social media. So I bought a pair with my own money, and took a real close look to see how truly awful they actually are.

3. In 2024, I took the opportunity to sit down and figure why exactly Harley culture feels so absurd to me. Despite my fairly tame dissection of the motorcycles and the lifestyle surrounding Harley Davidson, it still managed to make people upset. Go figure!

4. I confronted the way in which motorcycle content has become another fixture of online consumer culture. There is an onslaught of independent creators shilling action cameras and Temu riding gear every week. Then there are corporate owned channels with seemingly infinite production budgets who create unrealistic expectations for what type of content people can watch on Youtube. I’m sure this didn’t do us any favors in regards to prospective sponsorship deals.

5. We launched the Yammie Noob Live Stream, which quickly became a fixture of the brand! This stream is totally powered by our awesome community of riders, utilizing a lot of member generated material for segments like the Motorcycle Q&A and the infamous BIKE ROAST. Yammie Noob Live will be back in 2025, so tune in Wednesdays at 6 PM CST on Youtube to get in on the action.

6. This is Yammie Noob after all, so we of course had to pump out some good old fashioned shitpost List Videos. We poked fun at the members of a group ride, riders you’ll meet in your first year as a motorcyclist, and roasted sport bike riders with reckless abandon. While its important to talk about the big, hard hitting topics in the motorcycle space (like KTM’s notorious cam failures or the next generation of supersport motorcycles) I must not lose sight of what got me here in the first place: good old fashioned silly motorcycle content.

7. It happened. I became a father. I got an ADV bike. Yammie Noob, WHO ONLY CARES ABOUT SPORT BIKES (according to the angry boomers in the comments section) now rides an Adventure Bike. The Piaggio Group was kind enough to gift me an Aprilia Tuareg 660 as my new personal motorcycle. And I gotta say, I am having a ton of fun with it. It’s got a fun and zesty engine, comfortable ergonomics, and a do-it-all, go anywhere type of attitude. By do-it-all, I literally mean it. I even took the Tuareg 660 on track. That being said, I still think ADV culture is kind of silly.
